How many people go on a tour?
No more than 14 .
What about safety?
Our guides carry cellular phones a first aid kit and have American Red Cross certification in CPR and first aid.
What happens if it rains?
We go rain or shine. Rain gear and walking staffs are provided for all guests.
Do we need to make reservations in advance?
This is highly recommended. At least 1 week prior is strongly suggested.
How and where are we picked up?
Oahu Nature Tours van will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
What is the cancellation policy?
A minimum of 24 hours notice before the tour begins is required for a full refund.
Cancellations within 24 hours of departure will be charged full price.
What is the best tour for children?
All of our hikes are suitable for children 6 years or older.
What are the trail conditions like?
The Diamond Head Trail is graded and well maintained but there
are several small
holes to be careful of.
On the Discover Honolulu's Hidden Waterfall Adventure the
short walks are rated easy.
The Hawaiian Waterfall Hiking Adventure trail is occasionally
muddy and
slippery because the area receives about 200 inches of rain
each year.
The Natural Highlights of Oahu Adventure short walks are
conducted along the coast and are rated easy.
The Mountain Forest trail is rated moderate. Some areas on the
trail can be muddy and slippery.
The Valley of the Rainbows trail is rated easy but can be wet and slippery at times.
The Lost Coast of Oahu Adventure trail is rated easy but can be wet and slippery at times.
Explore the Famous North Shore Adventure is rated as easy, with short walks to most features.
The Manoa Waterfall Hiking trail is rated moderate. Some areas on the trail can be muddy and slippery
What should we bring on the hikes?
Comfortable walking shoes. Tennis shoes are great but no slippers or high heels. Plenty of film.
Sun block or sun screen is recommended for the Natural Highlights of Oahu Adventure.
