**IMPORTANT!!

– Please remember that in most cases your pick up time will be earlier than the official tour departure time. Pickups happen before we can leave town. So please check your email where we sent you detailed instructions about how to prepare for your tour, your meeting time and location!
Please be on time, because the bus is on a schedule and cannot wait for you. Please, also keep your cellphone on during the pickup process so we can assist you connecting with your driver if needed.

Our vehicle’s description:
Look for a vehicle with our name (‘Oahu Nature Tours’) shown on its digital display.
Please make sure you arrive to your meeting point on time and be ready to board your vehicle at
the stated pick-up time but allow 15 minutes for our driver to arrive due to occasional traffic delays
outside of our control. Please standby during this 15-minute window period if necessary and
do not leave your assigned pickup location.

Out of the eight pickup locations we offer in Waikiki, the meeting point we have assigned for you in your confirmation email is the closest to the hotel or residence that you have indicated in your reservation as your place of stay
but if you have any questions about your pickup time or location, you are welcome to email us using our contact form: https://www.oahunaturetours.com/contact-us/  *Please note that our offices are closed on weekends but you can contact us Monday-Friday anytime between 6:45am- 5:00pm.

Cancellation Policy:
For parties of 1-6 guests: a minimum of 24-hour notice is required prior to departure time for changing,
re-scheduling or cancelling your activity. Tours cancelled or rescheduled within the last 24 hours are
non-refundable.
For parties of 7 or more guests: a minimum of 72-hour notice is required prior to departure time for changing,

We have been operating successfully since 1995 with constant five-star rating and “Excellent Tour Provider” status on review sites like Viator, Tripadvisor, Expedia and others.

Oahu Nature Tours is a fully insured and licensed eco-tour operator in the State of Hawaii and we are one of the very few permitted companies by the Department of Land and Natural Resources to take you on even Na Ala Hele trails on O’ahu.

Waikiki has an unusually dense layout with many one-way streets and over 90 hotels.

In order not to make those guests that we pick up first spend too much time in the vehicle while completing pickups, or not to make those guests wait too long who are at the other end of Waikiki, all pickups have to be conducted within a reasonable time period. Having to go to to 15-25 hotels potentially would mean a lot longer waiting time for you as a guest than would be acceptable to most people.  Also, the structural design of some of the older hotels prevents buses from entering their driveway because of low clearance heights. In addition, many hotels do not allow tour buses to pick up on their premises for insurance reasons.

So, for your convenience and like most transportation companies on Oahu, we use 8 centralized pickup locations in Waikiki to eliminate this problem. This way we can still provide you with free transportation to and from selected Waikiki hotels. The ones that have assigned safe and permitted pickup areas. These pickup locations were carefully selected to make sure you never have to walk too far from your own hotel, regardless of which of the 90 hotels you are staying at.

You can select from the following CENTRALLY LOCATED AND CONVENIENT MEETING POINTS in Waikiki:

–  Ala Moana hotel – Mahukona street hotel entrance

 –  Hilton Hawaiian Village  – Grand  Islander Tower bus depot

 –  Trump International hotel – curbside

 –  Ambassador hotel – Namahana street entrance

 –  Ross Store at 333 Seaside Avenue

 –  Hyatt Regency hotel – Koa Avenue entrance

 –  Marriott Waikiki Beach hotel – Tour Lobby on Paoakalani street side

 –  Lotus hotel

Just tell us on your booking form in which hotel you are staying and our reservationists will always help you by automatically assigning your pickup location to the one that is the closest to your hotel and we always send a confirmation email specifying that location with photos and maps.

If you have not selected your Hawaiian accommodation yet that is not a problem either. 🙂 Until we hear from you otherwise, we just assign the default Ala Moana meeting point for you to meet our driver, then you can change it later, up to 24 hours prior your departure time.

Many of our guides are geologists, marine biologists, plant biologists and they have a real and genuine passion towards the environment. They can help you learn about the Hawaiian islands fascinating natural history, legends, geology, and archaeology. Our guides can also point out our unique native plant and bird species which you will find nowhere else on Earth.

The buses have a cargo hold area where they can be stowed if they are collapsible and can be folded in the luggage compartment.

Because of the constantly changing Covid regulations for tour vehicles on the Island of O’ahu, tour vehicle sizes and capacities can vary in the future but we will always comply with the latest Government recommendations and laws.

Currently we are using the best buses in town, the Silverline luxury, panorama, air conditioned, touring buses specifically designed and suitable for our day-long tours around the island.  They can hold 63 passengers, but we usually limit passenger numbers to 58 only.

Oahu Nature Tours

Due to the nature of our adventures and for your safety, our insurance company does not allow us to take children under three years old for the Ultimate Circle Island tour.

As children over 3 years old need their own seat on our vehicles and each seating includes lunch and entry fees to all visited locations, children prices are the same as adult prices.
