Oahu Nature Tours is a fully insured and licensed eco-tour operator in the State of Hawaii and we are one of the very few permitted companies by the Department of Land and Natural Resources to take you on our hiking trails.
When you book your tour, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the information about your activity. This email will tell you what time you will be picked up and where you will meet your tour guide. Please make sure you are at the right pick up location we assign you.
*Please make sure you arrive to your meeting point by the stated pickup times but allow 15 minutes for your driver to arrive due to occasional traffic delays outside of our control. Please standby during this 15-minute window period if necessary and do not leave your assigned pickup location.
We recommend that you reconfirm your reservation 24 hours prior to your tour. If there are any changes regarding hotels or any delays upon your arrival to the islands, let us know by calling us at 1-808-924-2473.
Remember that your tour guides have to pick up passengers at a few hotels and they we will be there on time. For example if your pick up time is between 8:45 and 9:05 am, your tour guide will be there between those times.Should we not be there a few minutes after the pick time, please call us at 1-808-924-2473 to check on the location of your tour guide.
We only take you on safe and well-maintained trails. There are no dangerous or poisonous animals or plants in Hawaii.Tropical rainforests may have mosquitoes.
It rarely happens, but if the Department of Land and Natural Resources decides to close down a trail for safety concerns because heavy rainfall amounts in the preceding days then we will not operate the tour on that particular day and you can reschedule to any other day or get a full refund. Our professional guides carry first aid kits and mobile phones.
Many of our guides are geologists, marine biologists, plant biologists and they have a real and genuine passion towards the environment. They can help you learn about the Hawaiian islands fascinating natural history, legends, geology, and archaeology. Our guides can also point out our unique native plant and bird species which you will find nowhere else on Earth.
No, our fleet is unable to accommodate any strollers, walkers, wheelchairs or electric scooters.
For our #1 Diamond Head, #3 Ultimate Circle, #4 Natural Highlights and #8 North Shore, we do not take more than 25 guests per guide.
For the #9 Jurassic Park Manoa Falls Hike, the ratio is 12 guests per guide which can be a van with 1 guide and 12 guests or a mini bus with 2 guides and 24 guests.
For all other tours, vehicle guest capacity could vary.
We assign transportation from one of our centralized pick up locations throughout Waikiki including Ala Moana Hotel, Ilikai, Hale Koa, Army Museum Bus Stop, Ambassador, Don Ho Lane at the Sheraton Waikiki, Hyatt Regency and the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.

Changes and cancellations are usually allowed up to 48 hours prior to tour departure time without penalty. No-shows and changes or cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a full charge.
No refunds are available once a tour has commenced.

For tours #1-9, children prices are the same as adult prices. They require their own seat on our vehicles as each price includes entry fees and lunch fees per person.
For tours #1 and #9, the age limit is 5 years old.
For tours #3, 4, and 8, the age limit is 3 years old.
